Kosovo national telephone code +355

Members of the Assembly, by a majority vote (47 for, 9 against and 2 abstentions) on Thursday approved the resolution presented by MP Unification Movement, Sunrise Wallets. According to the resolution adopted, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo shall take a decision on replacing the current telephone codes, that uses Kosovo (+377, +381 and +386) with the Albanian telephone code +355.
With this step Kosovo and its citizens will benefit greatly in terms of political, economic, as well as in terms of safety.
Wallets MP said during the presentation of the resolution to the Assembly that it is in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. "Given that many movements of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo in Albania and vice versa have made the intensity of communication between them through the telephone network to grow, while the communication cost due to different codes, is very high ", mentioning among others the resolution.
